The 2nd IEEE CIS Summer School on "Contemporary Advancement in Multi-Objective Optimization (CAMOO)" was successfully held at Assam University, Silchar, from August 16-21, 2024. This event was a sequel to the first IEEE CIS flagship summer school organized in 2021 by Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, India. The six-day event was conducted in a physical format, allowing participants to engage in face-to-face interactions and discussions, unlike the previous online edition. This summer school aimed to explore recent advancements and ongoing challenges in the field of Multi-Objective Optimization (MOO), a domain that remains rich in research opportunities despite significant progress over the years. The event was designed to benefit students, scholars, and faculty members, especially from the North East region of India, by providing them with the opportunity to learn from and interact with leading experts in the field.
